We work with brands within the media/tech, entertainment, music, hospitality, art, design and fashion ecosystems. Our clients contribute to the life and vibrancy of the neighborhoods they inhabit.
We support landlord clients who recognize the importance of best-in-class tenants. We help them identify and execute improvement opportunities, acquire off-market properties, develop integrated marketing programs, and maximize ROI.
From acquisition through project management into on-going operations, each and every project goes through a rigorous and proprietary process that ensures an on-time and on-budget outcome. Our sole focus is maximizing value for our clients, capital partners and team.
Our capital is best served when it generates both financial and cultural value. We have honed our ability to find the best investments, including an early-stage scalable coffee company, a new-to-market music startup, and numerous food and beverage businesses. We are also deeply invested in real estate through our sister company, Normal Properties.
Since founding Creative Space in 2009, Tyler Stonebreaker has helped grow the firm into one of the premier real estate development and brokerage advisory firms in Los Angeles specializing in historic and adaptive reuse properties representing a diverse range of property owners, investors and highly sought after brands within the entertainment, music, fashion, art, design, and hospitality industries. His work has been integral in establishing the development and direction of the Arts District in downtown Los Angeles, with notable projects including Hauser & Wirth and Bavel; and more recently, the revitalization of the historic Melrose Hill neighborhood in Hollywood overseeing the restoration and leasing of 20 historic buildings totaling over 150,000 square feet along Melrose and Western Avenues. Throughout his nearly 25-year career, Tyler has brokered, developed, and invested in over 5 million square feet of hotel, industrial, office, residential and retail projects throughout California. Prior to Creative Space, Tyler was a partner at Seventh Street Development, a private equity backed development and investment group. He is also an active investor in hospitality, real estate, and venture-backed businesses with several notable exits including an early round investment in Blue Bottle Coffee. Tyler resides in the Hollywood Hills with his wife and two children.
