725 N Western Ave is a story of art and eclecticism. Completed in 1925 by the Screen Actors guild, the classic courtyard building was designed in a mixed Hollywood regency and Spanish revival style. Since then, the building has been home to a community of artists that have shaped the cultural character of Los Angeles. Today, the ground floor retail space is being reimagined for a dynamic program of people and uses that engage with the building’s history and the energy at Western & Melrose.
