Ace+Mission

Originally used for the storage and distribution of Budweiser and other major beer labels, several of the buildings at Ace+Mission were recently transformed into state-of-the-art studios and offices for film and digital media production. Located on the historic Mission Beverage Company property in the industrial flats of Boyle Heights, across the river from DTLA and the Arts District, Ace+Mission Studios is spread over fourteen buildings and almost 400,000 SF.


The sale of Mission Beverage Company in 2018 created an opportunity for the ownership, Anderson Real Estate, to reconsider the property's future moving forward. Creative Space was engaged by Anderson Real Estate, with whom weve worked with for a long time, to serve as broker and development partner to develop a strategic business plan and lead its execution with the idea of converting the buildings to soundstage and production offices, with space for shoots, production support offices, costume departments, hair and makeup departments, mill and commissary. Since we came on board in January 2020, we have acquired additional ancillary properties to control from bridge to bridge between 4th and 6th streets.


Part of Ace+Mission Studios is currently in a multi-year lease with a major streaming service. The remaining portion is serving as short-term production space for several other steaming services and production groups.


We are continuing our collaboration with Anderson Real Estate as we assess site programs and determine next steps, all while the 6th Street Bridge, which will connect the Studios with all that vibrant DTLA has to offer, is under construction.
